It’s not at all a strange thing,

Whenever you are stressed out, you seek an alternate,

More often than not,

That alternate happens to be daaru (drinks),

In this space,

There are few moments when you are not stressed because of something or the other,

Then is when the foursome awesome,

SK, Hasti, Chakra and Sutradhaar,

are found in their favourite pub for an after office party.

Cribbing about the mishaps taking place in the agency,

Love triangles brewing in the office,

The bad and not so bad of the dynamics,

They tend to dissolve their worries.

Not knowing,

and

Awaiting

What’s going to be the next screw up!

What has not happened?

Is just one aspect of a situation at hand,

If one doesn’t focus on why and how,

It would make little sense to even conduct an analysis of the situation at hand.

Chakra and Sutradhaar wondered and kept wishing,

For a day to arrive,

When the discussion could become more meaningful.

Bashing became the keyword for what was not happening,

Lover boys, SK and Hasti, least concerned about what was panning out,

Were busy in their own fantasy world.

Others were playing hide and seek,

And it was inhuman not to wonder what’s going to be the outcome of everything and anything being done on this platform.

Insecurities are a part of everyone’s life,

Be it professional or personal,

One tends to get caught up in the same,

Resulting in finding a residence in one’s shell,

Not speaking up when you are supposed to,

and

Being ready to bear the brunt of the illogical situation at hand,

Such was the case with the likes of many in the space,

Who prayed each day,

Of somehow passing time,

and

Of somehow managing to complete one campaign cycle.

In this environment of insecurity and fear of losing their jobs,

2 love stories were beginning to find some ground.

As the stories moved on to the next chapter,

Chakra was getting extremely frustrated seeing the state of affairs.

What was to follow next,

No one had ever imagined.

The third lover boy in town,

Though apparently a secret one,

For he already has a girlfriend,

Yet heart matters can be very tricky,

Bijoy has a crush on Chand,

Like Hasti, he is finding it hard to open up.

Hasti, since the time, he has come to know about Bijoy’s crush,

Hates him to the core,

Biryani is apparently Bijoy’s go to food,

which he can pretty much have at any time of the day.

Stuck between his heart inclination and his commitment,

It will be interesting to see which path he would tread upon.

At the helm are those,

Who are supposed to be the karta dhartas in this agency,

To begin with are a set of madaris,

Prominent among them being a person, fondly referred to as the Zombie baba,

Who has this habit of talking while walking,

Where he would keep murmuring something while walking by a person,

Intended for the person in view,

Yet the person would never be able to make out what he’s saying,

Later, to be met by an allegation from Zombie Baba that people don’t listen.

Keeps moving in and out of the scene,

Has developed a love hate relationship with the sector,

Is extremely knowledgeable,

And is here to stay forever and ever.

Not just because of her moon like face,

but also because of how Hasti refer to her as,

A girl in her early twenties,

Hailing from a humble background,

with an aspiration to make it big in life,

and

gift her parents a house, they have always aspired for,

she happens to be a love interest for not one but many in the office space,

Graceful to the core,

She manages to look extremely pretty in both traditional and western attire,

No wonder, Hasti has gone gaga over her!

It’s not often that she parties,

But if she does,

She would get tipsy enough to ask everyone leaving,

“ghar pahuch ke zaroor message karna”, (do message after reaching home),

which tends to magnify her sweetness, like a zillion times.

A love triangle seems to be brewing between her, Hasti and another character (to be introduced soon),

She waits eagerly to witness what life has in store for her.

Characters of the P Company: Kitty

Considering there is a hero in every story,

There is bound to be a heroine,

Fondly referred to by BM or SK as Kitty,

Not because he is truly and madly in love with her,

But simply because SK used to play a game in his childhood, kitty kitty come come!

Where kids would line up bending to touch their respective feet,

And a person from the other team would come running from behind and jump on the last person in the queue,

Aim being to make the members of the team bending to fall flat,

As strange the game might sound,

Stranger was SK speaking fondly about the same.

Kitty, a simple, traditional to the core girl,

Would love SK to sweep her off her feet,

Yet, the ball seems to be in no court as of now,

Waiting to be hit for all the right reasons,

Stuck in her own world filled with confusion,

She eagerly waits for her destiny to unfold.

Love 2022!

One of the most talked about emotions possibly is love,

The moment I utter the word,

What comes to mind,

is

The love that one might have for his gf/bf/spouse,

The love that a mother/father might have for their kids,

or

The love that one might have for friends,

But the kind of love that is most relevant and most important is love for self,

Which we practice day-in-day-out,

For every act of love that we demonstrate is intended to bring about a pleasantness in oneself,

Though,

We claim to be doing it for others,

Yet,

The sole purpose is to have that feel good factor which makes our day,

Which,

Inspires us to invest our time and effort,

Which

Gives this very life a purpose,

2022 is no different in that sense,

If we were to focus on this very essential of love,

There won’t be any question about what’s right or wrong,

For what makes our life feel good in the true sense will in itself make others happy!

Often people talk about the ill effects of indulgence,

Be it smoking,

or

Be it excessive drinking or eating junk,

Though very few will tell you that the word in itself is not bad after all,

If you indulge in your own well being,

Trying to become a better version of yourself each day,

Trying to improve that delta bit each day,

Making sure that you are moving closer to your aim in life,

Be it losing weight, becoming fitter,

Be it getting into a particular profession,

or

Be it marrying the love of your life,

Learning the intricacies of life at all times,

Coming closer to being wise,

and

Becoming aware of the very fundamentals of what’s its all about!

Time for some indulgence in your well being then, what say!

No matter the diversity,

Caste

Class

Religion

Race

Country

One thing that unites us all,

We are interested in what’s happening next door,

Be it Sharma ji’s daughter whom he is trying to get married at any cost,

Be it Tandon aunty’s maid woes,

Be it the modern Sweety ji, whom the uncles seem to drool over,

or

Be it Mr. Paul’s long due promotion party,

We want to know it all,

And

Participate in every possible ritual,

After all, what it is to live in a community, if it were not this,

Yes, it comes with it’s own pros and cons,

Yet

Fun part,

A true community,

Lives

Loves

Hates

Fights

and

Celebrates TOGETHER.

Though this very establishment seems to have gone for a toss in this modern era,

Neighbors not having a clue who’s living next door,

Meeting with a frown rather than a smile if they happen to be in the same lift,

That’s what individualism has come down to,

Wonder whether the long gone ताका झांकी has lost its relevance!

Guess, it’s time to move on?
